By this time, I hope that all of you are in full throttle for your coming bundle of entrance exams. Every student is strategic and intelligent in their preparations
But interestingly very few students succeed in entrance exams. so to succeed in exams we need to plan according to our mindset.
No teacher or students are strong in all areas of subjects, be it Math, Physics or Chemistry. So we should know exactly how to convert our weaker areas of topics into stronger areas For that you need to first focus and target on difficult topics, read the concept thoroughly, take the help of teachers where ever situation demands and practice as many
So we should know exactly how to convert our weaker areas of topics into stronger areas. For that you need to first focus and target on difficult topics, read the concept thoroughly, take the help of teachers where ever situation demands and practice as many number of questions as possible
Steps to be followed for JEE Mains and Advanced and for Medical Entrance Preparation
Read and be perfect with NCERT TEXT BOOK, then go for good reference book(only one reference book of your choice or as prescribed by your favorite teacher). If possible practice all questions from NCERT book like examples, intext questions, back end chapter wise questions and so on.
Your method of attempting questions for MCQ'S/MAQ'S or any type of question should go with concept and formula application. Simply if you remember the formulae and target the questions you may go wrong sometimes.
While answering questions give an intelligent guess, but make sure if you are applying any short cuts,it's 100% authentic answer.Dont go for hit and trial methods. It may backfire your score and performance
Never spend excess time on one question if you are not confident, and don’t forget that you are supposed to invest only 90 seconds maximum for any question you are attempting. If you are crossing this limit then your Rank ladder pushes you down to low in your score and ranking. So time management is a must and very important
As Our Great scientist late.Abdul kalam said “Your best teacher is your last mistake." Stick to your basics, believe in yourself and never compare yourself with anyone.
As a chemistry teacher, I would recommend some specific and selective books for thorough reading
1)Reaction Mechanisms FOR Organic Chemistry by Dr.Mukhul Ray(1 of the best books ever I have seen so far)
2)For Inorganic chemistry, I would recommend J.D LEE CONCISE INORGANIC CHEMISTRY from Wiley India Pvt ltd
3)Physical chemistry by Shishir Mittal by Disha publications
