The following tips are for you to add in your daily routine while working in Photoshop-

  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + N - It is for inserting a new empty layer on top of the active layer.
  • Alt+Shift+Ctrl+S – It is for Save for Web.
  • Shift+F7 – It is for Inverse.
  • Shift+B - It is for Brush tool, Pencil tool, Color Replacement tool, Mixer Brush tool.
  • Ctrl + G - It is for groups selected layers in the layer tree.
  • Crtl + Shift + E - It is for to merge all visible layers.
  • Shift+Ctrl+A - It is for Camera Raw Filter.
  • Press G - It is for Gradient Tool.
  • Press W - It is for Quick Selection Tool & Magic Wand Tool.
  • Press I - It is for Eyedropper Tool, Color Sampler Tool, Ruler Tool, Note Tool & Count Tool.
  • Ctrl+Tab - It is for Cycle through open documents.
  • Press E - It is for Refine Radius and Erase Refinements.
  • Ctrl-Shift->/< - It is for Increase/Decrease size of selected text by 2 pts.
  • Ctrl-Shift-Alt->/< - It is for Increase/Decrease size of selected text by 10 pts.
  • Shift-Number keys - It is for Change paint opacity (with Airbrush ON).
  • Shift-drag - It is for Draw square slice.
  • Shift + Alt + n - It is for Normal
  • Shift + Alt + i - It is for Dissolve
  • Shift + Alt + k - It is for Darken
    Shift + Alt + g - It is for Lighten
  • Shift + Alt + m - It is for Multiply
  • Shift + Alt + o - It is for Overlay
  • Shift + Alt + u - It is for Hue
  • Shift + Alt + t - It is for Saturation
  • Shift + Alt + y - It is for Luminosity
  • Right-Click on the object w/Move tool - It is for Find/Select layer containing object
  • Alt-Backspace - It is for Fill selection with foreground color.
  • Number keys - It is for Fill selection with foreground color.
  • Ctrl-Alt-O - It is for Open Adobe Bridge.
  • Ctrl-Shift-T - It is for Replay last Transformation.
  • Hold Space while drawing - It is for Move Crop Marquee while creating.
  • Shift+Option+N – It is for Normal
  • Shift+Option+I – It is for Dissolve
  • Shift+Option+Q – It is for Brush tool
  • Shift+Option+R – It is for Clear
  • Shift+Option+K – It is for Darken
