After noting down the syllabus, the next step is to make the study plan. List out the subjects and their units and prepare a timetable accordingly. Make sure that before the exam day, you have covered all the units in detail. Proper planning will make the learning process easier. Prepare a checklist of topics covered and uncovered. Also, plan a schedule for revising the covered concepts.
For national-level SRMJEEE, the students must review different references and study materials. For physics, the recommended books are Objective Books by DC Pandey & HC Verma. And for Chemistry - Organic Chemistry- by Himanshu Pandey, Inorganic Chemistry- OP Tandon, and Physical Chemistry by P Bahadur. Any CET Book and Mathematics book by Amit M Agarwal is recommended for Mathematics. NCERT books are also very helpful in covering fundamental concepts.
Candidates should practise mock exams and previous question papers to familiarise themselves with the exam process. This allows students to see how long it takes them to complete the assignment. With these tests, candidates can evaluate their results and understand their progress. The student can also attempt the SRM practice test. Accordingly, they can start preparing and solving practice tests early.
The students have to plan their preparation carefully before the exam. It is better to complete the entire syllabus before the exam day. Stop reading until the last moment and try to maximise your concentration level.
After the result is declared, the candidates should visit the official site. Then, they need to log in with their registered email ID and password. The scorecard will appear, and you can take a printout of it. Keep the scorecard safe for counselling and admission procedure.
The SRMJEEE Cutoff is declared by the examination authority of the University. It is set to choose the merit candidates out of the millions of applicants. Candidates who secured the cutoff marks are eligible for admission. Cutoff marks vary for general and SC/ST candidates. The cutoff is also available based on courses. The Cutoff percentage will be published on the official site of the University.
The candidates who have successfully reached the Cutoff mark will be allowed for SRMJEEE Counselling. Others will get disqualified from participating in counselling. During the counselling process, document verification is also performed by the authorities of the University.
