Simply put, we want all of our students to get full marks in their respective board exams. And, it may seem a bit ambitious, but, I sincerely believe that, if a student studies really well and develops a passion for Mathematics, the marks will follow. his job will be simply to ignite the passion. The rest will happen automatically and effortlessly.
Being a person with a very high degree of passion for Mathematics himself, He believes in a very simple logic = in Mathematics, either you are fully correct, or you are fully wrong. There can NOT be anything in between. So, in my exams, give either full marks or no marks in a question. I do NOT believe in part marking at all as that creates a false sense of security among the students. Actually, I award students negative markings for their mistakes, so that, they remembers where they went wrong. So, they will never repeat the mistake ever in their life!
Another thing he try to teach his students is that, Mathematics is a subject where you have to know everything in the syllabus. You cannot skip a chapter. If you do so, your learning will be incomplete and you will suffer severe setbacks in later classes
