What is the test about?

CLAT is national level entrance test for the admission to UG, PG and Integrated law courses.

Who is eligible?

Educational Qualification: The minimum requirement of academic to appear the exam is 10+2 level for UG and integrated course while for PG course the required qualification is UG in Law.

Age Criteria: A candidate should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2016 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities. There is not any upper age limit criterion for the PG courses as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities.

What are the test syllabus, duration and format?

Reasoning – 40 Questions
Legal Aptitude – 50 Questions
English & Comprehension – 40 Questions
Elementary Mathematics – 20 Questions
General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 50 Q

Who conducts the test?

The CLAT 2016 will be conducted by the Chanakya National law University, Patna
