What is the test about?
PGET is an entrance exam to admit aspirants into 12 institutions
offering MD/MS and 19 institutions offering MDS programs.
Who is eligible?
must have passed the MBBS/BDS from any institute recognized by the
complete their internship by April 30, 2017.
must satisfy all the requirements prescribed by MCI (Medical Council
of India)/ DCI (Dental Council of India).
must qualify the entrance exam with 50% marks for general or 40%
marks for all India SC/ST candidates.
What are the test syllabus, duration and format?
syllabus will be based on the MBBS/BDS syllabus prescribed by the MCI
There will be
separate tests for PG medical and PG dental courses. Each paper will
comprise 180 MCQ. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark
and there is no negative marking.
