What is the test about?

CSSET 2016 is a national level test organized by Rashtriya Sanskrit for candidates aspiring to pursue B. Ed. Courses in the three Sanskrit deemed universities. 

Who is eligible?

Candidates should have 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in Shastri/ B.A Sanskrit or its equivalent qualification and/or M.A. In Sanskrit from a recognized university.

What are the test syllabus, duration and format?

Syllabus:

  • Teaching Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • Sanskrit Language
Duration: 3 hours

Format:

2 sections: Part A and Part B
  • Part A will have MCQ questions from Teaching Aptitude, General Awareness and proficiency in Sanskrit language.
  • Part B will have subjective questions from Sanskrit language.
