What is the test about?

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level examination for recruitment of candidates for the posts of postal/sorting assistants, data entry operators and lower divisional clerks in various government offices.

Who is eligible?

Candidate Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit: Between 18-27 years

What are the test syllabus, duration and format?

As per the selection process, there are two stages upon successful completion of which candidates would be considered for appointment:

1) written examination and
2)skill test or typing test.

Candidates will be evaluated on the following sections in the written exam:

  • General Intelligence
  • English Language
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
