Since the birth of our institution in 1946, Almighty Allah has been our guiding force. The institution started with 11 students has 1200 on its roll now. This gradual improvement took place only by the grace of Almighty Allah, the most Benevolent and the most Compassionate. The institution established in 1946,by Late Hazrath Moulana Muhammed Abdul Bari Saheb (Rahmatullahi-Alaih)a renowned scholar and profoundly honored personality of the city of Bangalore, with a sole motive of providing a sound education at a low cost. Started with the name of JAMIUL ULOOM, and added English medium sections, keeping in view the usefulness of English education to the Muslim community. Thus the institution grew into a full fledged Primary School in 1961; and then into a High school in 1971 and assumed the name of ABDUL BARI'S ENGLISH PRIMARY & HIGH SCHOOL for the purpose of recognition by the Government of Karnataka. It was developed into a Junior College in 1981, but it was quite unfortunate that due to the non-support of the community, it had to be shut down in 1994. But all through its development we owe our gratitude to the grace and blessings of Almighty Allah; and seek His help in our future endeavors also.
