The word Ekya is derived from the Sanskrit sounds of unity and individuality. It embodies the spirit of collaboration and togetherness while allowing space for the individual to grow and express oneself.
The school forms the foundation for a child’s future, which is why we stress on a collaborative approach. Between you and us, between the teachers and us, and more importantly, between our teachers and your child.

Extra Curricular Activities
The Love to Read Program is aimed to inculcate a love for books and the written word. The purpose of this program is to enhance vocabulary, thinking and comprehension skills through exciting activities such as the Reading Week, book swaps, in-class libraries, digital library and book exhibitions.
The Visual Arts Program is a child-centric curriculum which has been designed to help the child see, express and appreciate art. The program is guided by Ms. Bee Lian Kehk who is a part of the Art Unit at the Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Ministry of Education, Singapore. The Art curriculum was designed to integrate 2D and 3D artworks to develop a sense of craftsmanship and to appreciate and be aware of diverse cultures and traditions.
Ekya CARES Program stands for Ekya Creativity, Action, Research, Empathy and Sustainability. The program engages children with real world issues and inspires and challenges them to find solutions.
The Physical Education Program at Ekya ensures the holistic development of all students. Children are encouraged to make the most of the facilities provided to them. Some of the games that are available to the students include basketball, volleyball, throwball, table tennis, chess and carom.
Competitions are held at grade and inter-house levels regularly, and students showcase their ability to excel in the various sporting arenas provided.
We believe in the power of a collaborative approach to education. In today’s highly individualistic society, we have lost sight of the benefits of working and learning from each other. At Ekya Schools, each child is imbibed with a sense of belonging to a greater whole while their individual contributions are valued and cherished. We provide your child with a stimulating and safe environment to explore and express their ideas. The value of togetherness is imbibed in them while maintaining and honing their individuality.
