Infrastructure at our play schools has been specially designed to suit the young, bouncy and eager preschoolers, keeping in mind their inquisitive and explorative nature. The arrangements at our play schools promote learning through, and with, fun and cheer. The bright facade of our play school buildings and the clean, colorful interiors combine in creating the perfect atmosphere for the children to 'react' in and pick up the basic skills. At our play schools, there are no formal classrooms, just thematic rooms like an aqua room, audio-visual room, art and craft room and so on.
Extra Curricular Activities
ActivitiesCO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES These activities are regularly organized as per their plan. These activities play a vital role in the over all development of the student’s personality. Special attention is therefore paid to them. Some of the activities include music and dance competition cultural programmes, dramatics, debates, physical training, games and sport, art and craft, picnic and education tours, celebration of National Days, birth and anniversary days of important persons, festivals, environment awareness programmes.
B D Kids complements a strong academic foundation with a rich selection of extra curricular activities designed to enhance a student’s all round development and cultivate varied interests. The School’s extra curricular programme includes cultural events, field trips, competitive and non competitive sport activities, dance, drama, quizzes, art, and music. All students are encouraged to participate in at least one extra curricular activity each week to ensure that their academic, sporting, and creative interests are balanced and encouraged.
We offer a varied programme of activities which changes each term, enabling students to participate in a range of activities throughout the year. SCHOOL EVENTS Parents and other members of the community are invited to witness a whole host of events showcasing the diverse talents of our students that feature regularly in our school calendar. Events that parents and students look forward to are The Annual Prize Day celebrations, Science, Art and Craft Exhibitions, Sports Day.
The emphasis is on projects that reduce time and manpower. COMMUNITY SERVICE Recognizing the need to pay back their debt to society, students are expected to participate in some form of social work. SUPW (Socially Useful and Productive Work) programmes help students develop a sense of service especially towards those less fortunate than themselves. CREATIVE EXPRESSION DRAMATICS & DECLAMATION Students are encouraged to develop their public speaking and histrionic skills through elocution, debates, school plays, and theater. This training provides them an ideal opportunity and platform to not only discover and showcase their talents, but to instil self confidence and enhance individual character.
Students are encouraged to explore their creative talent through a variety of mediums that includes clay, fabric, sand, paint, paper, and many others.
Spread of awareness regarding Indian values and ethics. We are grateful to all those parents and well wishers who stood like strong pillars in thick & thin & helped us to achieve new heights in quality education. We assure you further excellence in future too. I never imagined that a hutment classroom, could one day become a grand successful school.
I have now realised what amount of efforts must have gone into making this dream come true. I too got involved due to its nobleness & the kind of progress it was making in last year. I have watched it closely as a critic & happy to say that our school is the best learning institute. I have ever seen it has engulfed & embraced the children from neighbourhood irrespective of class, creed or religion & given them quality education within their financial reach.
