Additional Details
The Juhu Parle Education Society in its Utpal Shanghvi School introduced the International Curriculum in 2005 and became the University of Cambridge International Centre. It offers a range of qualifications offered by the University Of Cambridge International Examinations, U.K. like the Cambridge Primary Programme (CPP), International General Certificate of Secondary Examination (IGCSE) AS & A Levels (equivalent to class XI & XII) and theCambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers.

The Pre Primary classes follow the International Primary Curriculum( Early Years), U.K. which is a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject, for international mindedness and personal learning. It has a holistic approach and develops skills and attitude. PLAY is an important part of children's learning in this programme. IPC helps the teacher to cater to multiple intelligences. Learning by doing is the crux of this cohesive program. Learning with the IPC means that children focus on a combination of academic, personal and international learning that is exciting and challenging. This provides a seamless transition to the Primary Section.

In the Primary Section, the Cambridge Primary Programme, helps teachers develop English, Mathematics & Science skills and knowledge in young children. The Primary Programme provides guidance for curriculum development and class room teaching and learning and it allows teachers to assess children’s learning as they progress.

Starting with the International Curriculum right from the Preschool with the IPC (Early Years), U.K.; the Cambridge Primary Programme (CPP) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Examination (IGCSE) Curriculum, to the A Level, a student is groomed to become an independent learner.
