My Tutoring ApproachI would want to work with 11 to 13 year old students as their young minds can grasp so much in so less time and the scientific curiosity is heightened in them at this age.
My lesson plan would involve going through the NCERT, making the kids first read it by themselves to inculcate self studying habit. It would also include me giving proper notes to students leaving out nothing which would have variety of questions related to the topic, hence a better understanding. At the end of every lesson i would like to take an oral quiz and a small test .
I measure progress by how much time is it taking for a child to understand a concept and answering the related questions. Marks will be a priority as well, as i am there to help them become better.
I would provide assignments on alternate days so the student doesn't burn out quick and the feedback can be via a google classroom.
I would try making eye catching PPTs and having random fun quizzes in the class.

Yes, I prefer to let them take their time and I plan on having a one to one with the students on Sundays, so they can tell me their problems and I can help them as a friend and a teacher they can confide in.
