My Tutoring Approach

Q: What areas of physics do you specialize in, and what level of physics do you usually teach?

I am highly knowledgeable in high school Physics and cover all Physics exams coaching namely NEET, JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, Physics Olympiads and have a good track record of student ranks in these exams. I help students who need help in their CBSE school preparation as well.

Q: How do you approach explaining complex physics concepts to students in a way that they can understand?

I cover the theory, right from the fundamentals as every problem in Physics boils down to basic principles and take up high quality numericals which are relatable to everyday life scenarios especially in Mechanics. I incorporate pictures and GIFs collected over my 8 years of tutoring journey, which I think make theoritical concepts relatable.

Q: Do you have experience with students who struggle with physics, and how do you support them in their learning?

I have always got feedback from students that after attending my classes, their fear of Physics has been removed and they have actually started enjoying Physics. This has come from alot of my NEET students, for most of whom Physics appears to be a nightmare. I tutor such students with calm & ease and encourage asking as much doubts as possible no matter how silly they are.

Q: How do you ensure that your physics lessons are aligned with the student's school curriculum or syllabus?

Every topic which I teach, no matter the exam, I adapt to student needs and I stick to prescribed syllabus always. Deviating from the curriculum is sheer waste of time and no-one will benefit out of it.

Q: What is your teaching methodology and how do you structure your physics lessons to meet the needs of individual students?

I plan my lectures according to student needs and I never had any two students with same need. Every student is different in their own way. I get down to the problem which student faces and try to tackle it with calm attitude. Based on student's responses during lecture be it during concept explaining or numerical solving, I increase/decrease the level of my lectures and illustrations which I take during classes.

Q: Can you give examples of how you make physics interesting and engaging for students?

I try to relate the concept to real life phenomenas as much as possible. I use lots of images, videos and snippet diagrams from foreign author books as well. Like for example to understand that a Simple Harmoic Motion is projection of a particle in Uniform Circular Motion, explaining it on paper is very hard. So I introduce students to a simple 2 minute video so that see that and visualise the concept.
