I specialize in Math, English, Science, and other subjects, working with students from middle school to college level. Whether you’re looking to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or just get a better grasp of tricky topics, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I’ve been tutoring for several years, and during that time, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners — from students who need help catching up, to those who want to get ahead or challenge themselves further. My approach is always personalized. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to learn about your goals, strengths, and challenges, and then tailor our sessions to suit your unique learning style.
My background includes a degree in Biology and experience as a classroom teacher. But more than that, I bring patience, creativity, and encouragement to every session. I believe in making learning engaging and enjoyable. That might mean breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable parts, using real-life examples, interactive tools, or even a little humor to keep things fun and relaxed.
One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me is watching a student’s confidence grow. There’s nothing better than seeing someone go from “I can’t do this” to “I’ve got this!” My goal is to help you reach that point — not just by teaching the material, but by showing you how to think critically, ask good questions, and take charge of your own learning.
Outside of tutoring, I love hiking. I find that connecting over shared interests can make learning feel less like a chore and more like a conversation. Read less
